We have been getting a lot of shipments delivered on pallets here at The Shabby Tree and I knew we needed to make something with them. I love trees and I knew we could create a tree that can be used all year long . This would make a great tree for your porch or out in your yard.

The supplies you will need are:

1. A wooden pallet

2. Circular saw

3. Tape measure

4. Marker

The first step is to mark your lines where you will need to cut.

I am using the tape measure and I marked from the bottom corner to the top center.

You will do the same thing to the other side.

Once you have your lines all marked you will cut on the lines with the saw.

Once you are done cutting you will need to flip the pallet over to the backside.

You will now cut any pieces that are attached on the backside. You want to be sure to leave the bottom strip piece because this will help to allow your tree to stand up.

Once all your pieces are cut you should have a tree.

I took a piece of lace and spray paint and added a lace print onto my trees.

You will need to drape the lace over the pallet tree. Be sure that it is all flat to the tree.

You will then take the spray paint and spray over the lace.

When you take the lace off you should have a lace print into your tree.

You can create this with any colors you want. I used a dark brown spray paint and a cream spray paint.

These are so easy to make and I love how you can make them all unique in a different way. I hope you will find some pallets and give this a try.
