I stopped by Pop Shelf recently to check out their fall and Halloween décor. They had so many cute things, and of course I couldn’t leave empty-handed. One of my finds was a wooden cut-out turkey that I’m planning to give a little makeover.
This one’s going to be a quick and easy makeover, and you can find all the supplies I’m using listed below.
1. One wooden turkey cut out from Pop Shelf
2. Hot glue
3. Mod podge
4. Lace from our website
5. Antique Gold Rub’n Buff
6. Scissors
The first step is to add hot glue to the back of the turkey.
Use your scissors to trim off any extra lace.
Once the lace is secured to the back, cut additional pieces of lace to create the feathers.
Brush some Mod Podge onto the turkey, then press the lace in place.
Be sure to brush more Mod Podge over each piece of lace to seal it in place.
The last step is to add a touch of antique gold Rub ’n Buff.
This turkey was so easy to make and will look great anywhere in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give this makeover a try!
So cute I’m a Fall girl and love this idea. For sure I would love to do it. So easy and cute to make.👍💗
Oh my Barb, I LOVE this turkey so much. What an ingenious idea yo add the lace for the feathers. The gold rub ‘n buff finished it to be amazing. Thank you for your unending inspiration!!❤️❤️❤️🌲
I guessed what you were going to add before I looked because lace is what I would have added. Got your first two and now what the new lace when it comes back in.
So creative!
I just love this! Such a pretty statement piece!
Wow!!! Love ❤️
