I’m not a big sneaker lover but I do like to throw on some canvas sneakers now and then. You can find some simple slip on white canvas shoes in Walmart or in any craft store right now. I thought it would be fun to give a pair a little makeover.
The supplies that I’ll be using are listed down below.
1. One pair of canvas slip on sneakers
2. Material
3. Mod Podge for fabric
4. Paint brush
5. Scissors
I want my sneakers to be colorful so I’m using a floral print fabric from Hobby Lobby.
I used scissors to cut the flowers out as shown in photo above.
Once I had the flowers cut out I then added some of the Mod Podge to the sneaker and to the back side of the flower.
I added more mod podge over the top of each flower and I continued adding more flowers.
These are so easy to make and you can use any thin printed material that you want. Be sure to give your sneakers a good 72 hours of drying time before wearing them. I hope you’ll get creative and give this fun makeover a try.
