If you’re following The Shabby Tree then you all know that I’m obsessed with all kinds of lights. I was in my Dollar Tree and saw a few glass pieces that I knew I could put together to create a fun glass light post. This light post can be kept out all year long but will make an amazing decoration for Christmas.
The supplies you need for this are:
1. Two glass items to create your lamp post (I found both of my items from the Dollar Tree
2. E6000 glue
3. Black spray paint
4. Frosted spray paint
I did 2 coats and it gives it a frosted look.
I then spray painted my glass vase and the lid to my round piece with the black spray paint.
Once my paint was all dry I added some E6000 glue to the top rim of the vase.
Once my paint was all dry I added some E6000 glue to the top rim of the vase.
I then placed the round frosted piece on top. I usually give the E6000 glue a good 48 hours to dry before I start moving my project around.
I then added a bow and I placed a battery operated tea light into the top.
This is so simple to create and you can easily find your glass pieces in the Dollar Tree. This Glass post can be created any way you like and I think you will all love the finished look.
