When you’re a crafter it seems like you’re always trying to find different ways to store your craft supplies. One item a crafter seems to use a lot is a hot glue gun. The Dollar Tree has a few items that can easily create an amazing holder for your glue sticks and a place to set your glue gun on.
The supplies I will be using are:
1. Small wooden crate from the Dollar Tree
2. Small wooden tray from the Dollar Tray
3. Metal chopper from the Dollar Tree
4. Hot glue
5. Paint brush
6. Oak colored Gel stain by DecoArt.
The first step is to paint your wooden tray and wooden crate. I’m using a gel stain but you can use any type of paint.
Once you have the wooden tray and crate painted you will glue them together as shown in photos below.
Once they are glued together you will then glue the metal chopper on as shown in photo below.
This is very easy to make and can be used for any size glue gun. It is a fun way to store your glue sticks and provides a great area to set your glue gun on. I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
