Fall is right around the corner and we have been making a lot of pumpkins here at The Shabby Tree. I was trying to make a pumpkin that was quick and easy but with supplies that everyone would be able to find. So I decided to create some pumpkins using basic brown lunch bags and and small party paper bags.
These pumpkins are so quick and easy to make and you just need a few supplies.
Your main item that you need are paper bags. I am using brown paper lunch bags and small paper party bags. You can find a variety of small paper bags in any craft store. I bought some small light mint paper bags from Hobby Lobby.
Some other supplies you will need are:
1. Scissors
2. Glue gun
3. Poly fill
4. Stick for stem
5. Twine
6. Spanish moss
The first step is to fill your bag with the poly fill stuffing. You will fill your bag according to how big you want your pumpkin to be.
You will then gather the top part of the bag and tie with a piece of twine.
I then cut the excess piece of the bag off. I added some hot glue and placed my stem in tip.
I added some spanish moss around the stem and I then added some cream paint to my pumpkin.
I did the same process to my smaller bags.
You can make these pumpkins in a variety of colors and sizes. These are fun to add to a dough bowl or in your Fall tree.
