I found myself in the Dollar Tree looking at the party supplies. They have a honeycomb garland that caught my eye. I think we can create some fun and unique paper flowers using the honeycomb garland.
The supplies that I’ll be using are :
1. One honeycomb garland from the Dollar Tree
2. Hot glue
3. Scissors
4. Colored cardstock paper (12”x12”)
5. Magnets from the Dollar Tree
I traced the honeycomb circles onto the colored cardstock paper.
The garland has different colored honeycomb circles. I traced the circles onto paper the same color as the circles.
I created a pattern for the petals to the flowers. I traced 12 petals for each flower. You can make your petals any color that you want.
Once I had the petals cut out I then glued them to the circle that I cut out.
I glued the honeycomb circle to the center of the flower.
You can create these flowers in so many different colors.
I glued small magnets to the back side of the flowers. You can glue magnets or clothes pins to the flowers for hanging.
They look really cute on any metal container. These are very easy to make and I hope you’ll get creative and give them a try.
