I love decorating for all Holidays and I seem to have a lot of vintage decorations. Vintage decorations seem to be harder to come by lately. I thought it would be fun to create a wreath with a vintage look that I can incorporate with all of my other decorations.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. One round 16 inch plastic tray from the Dollar Tree

2. Hot glue

3. Variety of plastic ornaments

4. Tinsel

5. Gift bows

6. X-acto knife

7. Decorative hang tags

8. Battery operated colored lights

I’m using the plastic tray to create my wreath form but you can make it out of cardboard.

I traced a small bowl in the center of the tray and used the x-acto knife to cut the center out.

Once I had the center cut out I then trimmed the outer edge of the tray off as shown in photo above.

I added some tinsel around the tray as shown in photo above. The tinsel will make a great base for the wreath and makes it easier to attach the ornaments.

I used hot glue to attach all of the bows and ornaments. You can add what ever you want to this wreath.

The gift bows are low in cost and make a great filler for the wreath.

All of the ornaments that I’m adding are from my Dollar Tree Plus.

I have a variety of hang tags left over from last year that look great on the wreath.

The Dollar Tree has all different types of gift bows and Christmas ornaments.

I thought it would be fun to add a strand of battery operated colored lights.

This wreath is so easy to make and I love how creative you can get with it. I already started pulling out a few items to create one for Valentine’s Day. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
