Did you all know that the Dollar Tree has plain glass candles? I knew as soon as I saw them that there would be so many ways to get creative with them. If you love having candles throughout your home then your going to love this idea.
I will be using the tall plain glass candles from the Dollar Tree.
Some other supplies I will be using are:
1. Mod podge
2. Red paint
3. Paint brush
4. Scissors
5. Glitter
6. Valentine napkins
I will be doing two different candles. The first one I will be painting red hearts onto the candle.
I added mod podge around the rim of the candle and sprinkled glitter over the mod podge.
The second candle I am adding mod podge over the whole outside of the candle.
Once the candle was covered with mod podge I placed a decorative Valentine napkin over the mod podge.
You will want to add another coat of mod podge over the napkin.
I used my finger to rub out any bubbles or creases.
I sprinkled glitter over the top rim and bottom area of the candle.
These are so easy to make and you can create them for any holiday or occasion. I hope you will get creative and give this a try. I think these would make a great gift.
