Egg Craft Using A Chick Napkin

by blewis | Mar 3, 2025 | Easter/Spring | 13 comments

I recently got a Spring bundle of napkins from European Excellency that I’m excited to get creative with. There’s a napkin with chicks on it that gave me a fun craft idea.
You can find the list of supplies that I’ll be using down below.
1. Plastic eggs from Walmart
2. Napkin from European Excellency
3. Mod Podge
4. Scissors or x-acto knife
5. Poster board or cardboard
Here is the link to the napkin bundle I am using from European Excellency: https://europeanexcellency.com/r?id=mfcrat
I’m using a thin piece of cardboard so I decided to paint it a cream color. This is an optional step but the cream color will help keep my napkin bright.
The first step is to add the Mod Podge onto the cardboard or poster board.
Once you have the Mod Podge added to the cardboard you’ll then place the napkin on top. Be sure to remove the back layers of the napkin.
I decided to use an iron over my napkin. You’ll want to place a piece of parchment paper over the napkin and then use the iron over the parchment paper.
The next step is to cut out the chicks.
The next step is to cut the plastic eggs. You’ll want to start an opening in the egg and then break the egg apart.
These eggs are very easy to tear and break apart. You can find these eggs on Walmart by clicking my referral link down below.

The last step is to add some moss or grass to the inside of the egg and then add the chick.
These make a fun decoration for Spring. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
