I recently purchased a 3 pack of glass vases from Target’s dollar section. These vases are different shapes with a gold trim around the top. I knew as soon as I saw them that they would make perfect candle holders.

The supplies that I will be using to turn these vases into fun and unique candle holders are :

1. One scrap piece of lace

2. Scissors

3. Mod podge

4. Paint brush

5. Metallic gold leaf spray paint by Krylon

6. Run’n Buff color Gold Leaf

7. Bottle top candle holders from our website

8. Cream colored chalk paint

The glass vases come as a set of 3 for $5.00 from Target.

I first cut a piece of lace to fit the front of each glass vase.

I sprayed the Metallic gold leaf spray paint onto each piece of lace.

I also sprayed 3 of the bottle topper candle holders with the spray paint. You can find the link down below for the bottle topper candle holders.

Once the pieces of lace were dry I then added them to the glass vase using the mod podge.

I added the mod podge onto the glass vase and then placed the lace on top . You will want to add more mod podge over the lace.

I decided to add the cream chalk paint over the glass jar vase.

The vases still needed something else so I then decided to add some of the gold leaf Rub’n Buff onto the vase. I only added the Rub’n Buff here and there on the vases.

It was easier to add the Rub’n Buff with a wet rag.

I just love how these turned out and they were so easy to create.

These will look great any where in your home. I hope you will get creative and give them a try.
