How To Get Creative With Fragment Effects

by blewis | Aug 14, 2024 | Fall/Halloween, Holiday | 81 comments

I’m super excited to get creative with a new product by Plaid. This product is called Fragment Effects and I know exactly what I want to do with it. You will find a variety of colors in this product as well as some fun surfaces for this product. I purchased this product from my local Walmart.
You’ll find a list of products that I’ll be using for this diy down below.
1. One round framed circle
2. Fragment Effects ( Metallic Gold and Tangerine)
3. Fragment Effects Sealer
4. Tool and tray set
5. Treasure Gold by Plaid
6. Pumpkin chalk paint by Waverly
7. Stem and moss
8. Hot glue
I’ll be creating a fun and unique pumpkin out of the Metallic Gold and the Tangerine Fragment Effects.
The first step is to pour some of the sealer onto the round framed circle.
Once you have the sealer poured onto the frame you’ll then start adding the Fragment Effects.
I’ll be alternating the Tangerine and the Metallic Gold to create a pumpkin effect.
You’ll keep adding the sealer to the surface as you add the Fragment Effects. Once you have all of the Fragment Effects in place you’ll then add more sealer. This sealer will dry clear so do not worry about adding more sealer. The sealer is what will hold all of the Fragment Effects in place.

I gave the sealer about 24 hours to dry and then I added some of the pumpkin colored chalk paint to the frame.

Once the pumpkin paint was added I then added some of the Treasure Gold.
I added a stem and some spanish moss to the top.
This pumpkin turned out amazing and has a beautiful shimmer. This will look amazing in a window or hanging any where in your home. It has a beautiful stained glass look when in the sun light. I hope you’ll get creative and give Fragment Effects a try.

Where did you get the wooden round frame form? Was that from Walmart as well?
