We are so happy with how our Live Hangout went in Waco, TX! We got to meet so many of our incredible followers! Mr. Wally, Kellie Sue, and Joy along with our amazing event planner, Lois, worked so incredibly hard to make this a memorable weekend for everyone and I would say they did such a great job!
There was lots of prepping that went into making the weekend a success! Joy and the boutique staff worked hard on picking out all of the clothes that we took with us and prepped them for safe travels! Kellie Sue and I partnered together to put together the decorations, swag bags, VIP boxes, and all the details that made it really feel like the Shabby Tree! Mr. Wally and Kellie Sue worked with Lois to find the venue and all of of the amazing vendors we had to make this event a success!
We have gotten a lot of questions about was was in the VIP gift boxes!
Here are our amazing VIPs from this hangout!
Every person who came got a swag bag with lots of goodies from us and our amazing sponsors! They got some goodies from European Excellency, Totally Dazzled, 143Vinyl, and a few Shabby Tree home decor items! Instead of candy, this time we threw in a thing of my favorite wax melts from Walmart!
Everyone also got their t-shirt! This is the shirt that we all wore on Saturday!
Everyone also got a pamphlet when they came in. This gave them all the info they needed for the weekend! Also, they got a Shabby Tree lanyard with their names and states on it!
We started out the event with a little entertainment! Just like the hangout in Georgia, we had a magician!
Everyone who came got a giveaway! We had their number inside of their name tag and the giveaways were numbered so they could just come up to one of the staff and claim it!
On Saturday, we all painted a tree together! Plaid was so sweet to provide the paint for it! Everyone’s trees turned out amazing!
Our friend, Agnieska, from European Excellency was there with her amazing napkins, rice papers, and wet transfers!
During the event, we encouraged all of the followers to make a hang tag for my tree! Let me just say, there are some incredible artists at the Shabby Tree!
And of course, we shopped! Joy and the boutique staff worked so hard to get everything just right for everyone to have fun trying on some of the Shabby Tree essentials!
We also had a fun photo booth for everyone to jump in and take pictures with their new friends!

We had such a great time and we can not wait for our next meet and greet so we can see some of the friends we met during this hangout and hopefully more of our Shabby Tree family!
It definitely looks like everybody had fun and met lots of new friends! Wish I had been there, maybe next time! Would love to see all of you in person.
Next time a little closer to center part of U.S. (think Nebraska)
Everyone looks like they had a great time. Great job
What scent are the wax melts that you get from Walmart? I usually get an apple scent but would like to try another one that smells nice. Thank you. 🌲
I loved the painting seeing everyone’s different take on the tree I loved the dancing lookalike such a great time hoping I can make the one in Pa unless you come to Jersey 🤣. You are so generous we are all blessed to have you come to us every day ❤️
It all looked fabulous and looked like it was a lot of fun!! Where did you get the 2 large pumpkins in front of the two trees you made? I think it was photo number 2 on here. I’ve been looking for that pumpkin for at least 2 years … saw it online that someone did a great table piece with it.
The pics are really great! Everyone looks like they were having a fun weekend! Thank you so very much for sharing this with the rest of us. Love you all!! 💞💞💞
I loved at the end how you put the recent post so we could go and look at them … thank you Miss Barb and The Shabby Tree for being so kind to us !!!! And I loved the pumpkins….,
This was great! All the pictures, saw nothing but smiles! It was fun seeing the decorations (where did you get the trees on the tables?), the VIP boxes, and the swag bags. So well done and generous. It was so obvious that a great deal of thought and effort went into making this a memorable weekend for all. What I liked the best…1) I loved being able to put some names and faces together, 2) I so enjoyed seeing all of the creativity. The hang tags are a great idea. The trees were such fun. It is amazing to me how very unique they are were. I so appreciated being able to drop in virtually and am hoping to be at the one in PA.
The blog was great! Thank you so much for sharing the blog and all the lives with us!! I loved watching the lives and putting faces to names that I hear and/or see every day on The Shabby Tree.
❤️🌲🤠💦
