I have been adding a few Valentine decorations throughout my home. Today I finally worked on my mantle in my living room. I love Valentine’s Day and I love decorating for it. If your following The Shabby Tree then you all know I like to decorate with a lot of neutral colors.
I used brown paper to make the hearts that I have hanging across the mantle.
I always like to have a garland with lights going across my mantle. This is a basic greenery garland that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I have a stand of 50 white lights on the garland.
I decorated 3 glass jars with doilies and ribbon and turned them into candle holders.
The ceramic angels are from Hobby Lobby.
I have one the wire hanger hearts that we created here at The Shabby Tree on each end of the mantle.
I placed two large hearts at the bottom of the mantle. These are the hearts that we created from large plastic candy canes.
I have a bucket of dried hydrangeas at the bottom of the mantle.
You will also see a smaller tree located at the bottom of the mantle.
I hope that my Valentine Mantle will inspire you to get creative and fun decorating your home.
