It is time to start wrapping my Christmas gifts and I always like to try an make things unique. You can buy all different types of bows in the stores for your Christmas gifts but I thought it would be fun to make a bow. If you’re following The Shabby Tree then you all know that I’m not a great bow maker. I think we can easily create a fun and unique paper bow out of one sheet of paper.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. One sheet of double sided paper ( 6”x6”)

2. Scissors

3. Hot glue

4. Small embellishment

You will fold your paper as shown in photos below.

You will fold the paper in half twice as shown above and then open it back up. This will give you crease lines forming 4 triangles.

You will cut one of the triangles out.

Once the triangle is cut out you will then fold the paper in half as shown below.

This will give you another crease line in the center of one of the triangles.

You will open the paper back up and cut two if the lines as shown above. Do not cut right up to the center.

You will then cut out a smaller triangle. Use the crease line as the center point for your triangle.

The next step is to cut a curve out of the sides as shown above.

Add hot glue to the center and bring in the four corners as shown below.

Use the hot glue to attach your button or bling to the center.

You can use any type of paper for these bows. I used a 6”x6” sheet of paper but I think you can create them with a larger or smaller sheet of paper. I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
