How To Make Magnetic Flowers

by blewis | Jan 30, 2025 | Holiday | 27 comments

I recently purchased the cutest magnetic chalkboard from Amazon and I want to add some flowers to it. Since this is a magnetic chalkboard it will be so easy to add flowers that can be changed out for different seasons and holidays.
I’ll be making some quick and easy magnetic flowers that can be added to the magnetic chalkboard. You can find the list of supplies that I’ll be using down below.
1. Flowers of your choice
2. Hot glue
3. Spanish moss
4. Tart tins or muffin pan from the Dollar Tree
5. Magnets
You can twist the Dollar Tree muffin pan to pop out each individual pan.
You’ll want to snip each flower off the stem. You can find the flowers that I’m using on our website by clicking the link down below.

Once you have the flowers ready you’ll want to glue some Spanish moss into the tin.
Once you have the Spanish moss glued in place you’ll then want to glue the flower into the moss.
Once you have all of the flowers glued in place you’ll then add the magnet to the back side of each tin.
I had to glue the magnet to the tart tin but the magnet will stick to the Dollar Tree pan.
These flowers will automatically stick to the magnetic chalkboard. I just love how simple this is to create and I love how simple it will be to change out.
You can use a chalk pen to add a cute message. You can find this magnetic chalkboard on Amazon by clicking my referral link down below. I hope you’ll give these fun magnetic flowers a try. They can be added to a variety of metal items.
