Bathroom Mirror Makeover On A Budget Using Peel And Stick Wallpaper

by blewis | Feb 24, 2025 | Everyday DIY, Home Decor | 22 comments

Ok who’s like me and hates your mirror that is in your bathroom. I want to change my mirror in our upstairs bathroom but I want a quick and easy change.
I decided the easiest way to make a change would be to cover the mirror with a peel and stick wallpaper from Amazon. You can find my favorite wallpapers that I use from Amazon by clicking my Amazon store front link down below.

The first step is to make sure your mirror is clean before adding the wallpaper. I put my first strip of wallpaper and then lined up the second strip.
The wall paper is easy to use but it does take time to line each piece up. You also want to use something to help get any air bubbles out. I used a credit card to wipe down the wallpaper as I placed it onto the mirror.
You’ll need a razor blade to cut along the end of each strip.
Once the wallpaper is in place it’s then time to add the new mirrors. The mirror will need to be hung from the wall above the wallpaper. I got this mirror from Walmart! Click here to get yours: https://walmrt.us/3EhV4n9
I’ll be using monkey hooks and ribbon to hang my mirrors.
I decided to add some Rub’n Buff to my light fixture to match the mirrors.
This was so quick and easy to do and made such a difference in my bathroom.
I also did this DIY in my half bath and I love how it turned out!
I’ll eventually change out the faucets to match the mirrors. I hope this will inspire you to get creative and give the peel and stick wallpaper a try.

Very nice, Barb!! May I ask if there was a reason why the border paper above the mirror in the half bathroom wasn’t cut at the corner of the wall?? I was curious…..
    Love your creativity, like always!!♥️🌲😘☀️♥️
