Fall is one of my favorite seasons to decorate for! When I think of this time of year, sunflowers always come to mind. So I decided to have a little fun and create a large sunflower wreath to celebrate the season.

The supplies that I’ll be using are listed down below.
1. One bag of corn husks
2. One bag of a brown straw filler from Hobby Lobby
3. Hot glue
4. Cardboard
5. X-acto knife
6. Ruler
7. Piece of string
8. Scissors

You’ll use the sting to draw your circle. Hold one end of the string onto the cardboard and with your other hand bring the other end of the string around in a circle holding a marker with the string.

The next step is to use the x-acto knife to cut the circle out.

Once you have the cardboard circle you’ll want to start ripping or cutting the corn husks.

Once you have the corn husks ripped into petals you’ll then start glueing them onto the cardboard circle.

You’ll start going around the outer edge of the circle.

Once you go around the entire circle you’ll then start a second layer.

There’s really no wrong way to add the corn husks. I kept going around doing one layer at a time until I used the entire bag.

Once I had all of the corn husks in place I then added the filler to the center.

I added hot glue to the center and along the edge of the corn husks.

You’ll need to add more hot glue until the filler is secured in place.

This was so easy to make and will look amazing any where in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give this large sunflower a try.

The sunflower looks amazing and easy, joining in tonight.
