I’ve been wanting to give my laundry room a quick and easy makeover, and I knew paint and wallpaper were the answer. I love dark colors in my home, which is why I decided to paint my laundry room black.
My laundry room is very small, with wooden shelves above the washer and dryer.
We just purchased a new washer and dryer, and I knew I wanted to go with black.
The crystal chandelier gives my laundry room a fun, elegant look.
I went with a black paint in an eggshell finish.
Once I had the entire room painted, I then started adding the wallpaper to the ceiling. I highly recommend hiring someone for this step—it can be very difficult, and mine is not perfectly lined up.
I love how this makeover turned out, and I love the moody feel the black paint gave my laundry room.
This color won’t be for everyone, but I love how it turned out. I’ll share a complete finished look once I get everything on the shelves.
