I’ve been decorating for Christmas and I just finished decorating my dining room. I decided to keep my dining room simple this year with a lot of lights.
You’ll see a lot of light up glass trees throughout my dining room this year. The candle centerpieces on the table are from Home Goods last year.
The angel wings on the wall are new and they’re from Decor Steals.
I have a few new pillows from Home Goods .
I love having a variety of games throughout my dining room. This is where we like to hang out for the holidays.

I purchased some plastic snowflakes from the Dollar Tree and hung them from my garland.

Hey Barb, the dining room is absolutely beautiful. I love the games on the table that’s a really good idea something I never would have thought about doing. I think my favorite thing in the room is the angel wings on the wall. My mom and I was in a horrific accident in January of this year. We were going home from a doctors appointment my mom had and a young girl come over in our lane and hit us head on. My mom was killed and I was in a wheel chair for 3 months and just now starting to walk ok. My mom and I were really close, like best friends. Then angel wings just remind me of my mom.

I have filled my living room with nativities also to remind all who visit what the real reason for the season is. I like the ‘cut out’ one on your mantel. My favorite in your room though are the ‘angel wings’ on the wall. I also see them as being two angels facing each other. Do you see it?
My favorite is the embroidered star pillow. It would add a spark anywhere in your home. It would be a thrill land a real surprise to win for the first time.
Barb, as usual you did an excellent job with your decorations. Love the living room with the Santa’s. The dining room is all about the “Reason for the Season” It is absolutely beautiful and looks so relaxing and peaceful. It would be hard to pick a favorite, but I am a tree fanatic (like you). I love all the trees, your “year round trees”, the grapevine tree, the gold trees, the light-up trees, AND the DYI tree you made out of the jars. (I still have not got around to making one )…. .I ALSO LOVE the two shutters with lights sconces by your windows… I have been looking for some similar since the first time I saw them.…..So if you ever decide to get rid of them Call me 😊 Keep up the Great Work – Love the Shabby Tree

Everything is beautiful as always! The floating candles are cool but for me the bowl of walnuts is my favorite. I have that same bowl; it was my mother’s. She would use it on special occasions like holidays or entertaining. I also have my father’s nut bowl made from a slice from a tree with the bark still attached and the center carved to hold the cracker and picks. I remember Dad cracking a walnut and giving my brother and I each a half with a pick to get the nut out. Mom saying something about our safety with the picks and Dad assuring her that we were safe. I think I will get Mom’s bowl down and fill it with nuts and add Dad’s nutcracker and picks and put it on my coffee table. Thanks for the idea.
The room is beautiful! I really like the tree with the floating candles but probably my favorite is the little white church in the cabinet.

LOVE IT ALL!!! Especially the picture of Mary holding baby Jesus as he receives a gift. It’s wonderful the way you displayed the pictures depicting the true meaning of Christmas. The floating candles are awesome, and the crock with the collection of silver utensils looks just like mine! It all looks so elegant, but comfortable.

Love the whole room. The ambiance is so warm & cozy. All the glass & lights reflecting. I thought the silver serving pieces in the antique clay pot were cool. The Madonna head & statue both very beautiful. The wing carvings really tie everything together. Love the sequin treepillow. Everything looks yummy!

I love all of your dining room decor. I am an ole soul at heart so this room speaks to me in many way. I love the tin of candy, the framed nativity scene with the bit of frosted holly.
