I have been going through my craft supplies and realize that I seem to have an obsession with craft sticks. You can buy craft sticks in a variety of sizes. I seem to buy some every time I go to Walmart. There are so many things you can create from craft sticks but I want to make a fun Patriotic angel.
The supplies I will be using are:
1. Seven jumbo craft sticks or seven quart size paint sticks
2. Two popsicle size craft sticks
3. Scissors
4. Paint brush
5. Paint ( colors red, white and blue)
6. Small piece of twine
7. Small amount of Spanish Moss
8. Hot glue
9. Flag napkin ( you can find my amazon affiliate link down below for the napkin that I’m using)
10. Wooden Bead
The first thing that I did was paint 5 of the large craft sticks red.
I then painted the two smaller craft sticks blue. I left one end of each craft stick unpainted. The unpainted section will look like the hand to the angel.
The next step is to start glueing them all together. Use one of the large red craft sticks as your center point.
Glue two more red craft sticks to the back side as shown in photo above.
The next step is to glue the arms to the back side.
Once the arms are glued on then glue the last two red craft sticks on top of the arms.
Glue a piece of twine as shown in photo above.
The last two white craft sticks will get glued over the twine as shown in photo above.
Place the twine through the wooden bead as shown in photo above.
I cut a piece of the napkin and glued the ends to the hands.
The last step is to add the Spanish Moss to the top of the wooden bead.

This angel is very easy to make and you can create her using any color paint that you like. I hope you will get creative and give it a try.
