It is time to start thinking about how you want to decorate for Christmas. We have a faux fireplace mantle here at The Shabby Tree and I am trying to decide how we should decorate it for Christmas. I am going to be adding a few different items and I would love to know which items you liked the best. There are so many different ways to decorate a mantle for Christmas but I always like to add a Christmas garland.
I found this amazing Christmas garland in Hobby Lobby. It has a beautiful greenery with a mixture of berries and a few twine balls added to it.
The garland is regularly priced $59.99 but I got it half off. You will also find a beautiful matching greenery bush that is regularly priced $23.99 but is also half off.
When I first placed the mantle in our warehouse I decorated it simple and with all neutrals. I am going to show you a few different ways to decorate it for Christmas.
I changed out the large cream tree to a tall green tree. The tall tree is from Walmart. I then added the garland from Hobby Lobby as well as the greenery bush from Hobby Lobby. I love adding pops of red for Christmas. I am vintage Santa lover so I decided to add a few to the mantle.
I hung stockings for all of our employees here at The Shabby Tree. The solid red one with the embroidered W is from Kirkland’s and the others are from Marshall’s. I love all of my silver displayed on the mantle but I am going to add a few different items to show you how one item can give you a totally different look.
I got this old frame from a yard sale and a follower sent me the amazing Santa head photo. I stapled burlap to the back of the frame and added tape to the back of the Santa photo.
I love the frame hanging above the mantle but I feel like it needed more.
I added a tall cypress tree to the left and switched the greenery bush to the right. I added the silver trays back to the center.
The cypress tree is in a Santa container that a follower sent us. You can add one tall tree to the mantle or you can change it up and add one on each end of the mantle.
There are so many different things you can add to a mantle. I love my vintage Santa’s but I also love a primitive look too. This is an amazing primitive snow girl that we have on our website.
I hung all of the cute stockings with cute decorative tacks. I also love to add lights to my garland. Here you will see that I added a brown cord light. These brown cord lights are available on our website.
There are so many different ways to decorate a mantle. I hope this will inspire you to get creative and add items that make you happy. I love decorating and I love adding items throughout my home that make me happy.
