I seem to have a lot of lace material and I have been trying to create some unique items with it. Angel wings seem to be a very popular decoration lately. These are so easy to make and can be used so many different ways.

The supplies you will need are:

1. Material ( I am using an old lace table cloth that I coffee stained)

2. Two wired hangers

3. Scissors

4. Glue gun

5. Wire and wire cutters

6. Doilies

7. Bling embellishment

8. Ribbons

9. Pen or marker

The first thing you will need to do is form your hangers to the shape of a wing.

After your hangers are shaped to the form of a wing you will want to trace them onto your fabric. Make sure your fabric is doubled so that when you cut them out you will have 2 pieces of fabric for each wing.

You will want to leave about a half inch around when tracing onto the fabric. You want to trace it a half inch larger to be sure that the hanger will be covered with your fabric.

You will then cut your wings out. You will have two sets cut out and each having 2 pieces.

Now it is time to glue your fabric to the wire wing form. You will put glue all around the edge of one piece of fabric. With the hanger lying on the fabric you will place the other piece of fabric on top. You will push along the edges to secure the two pieces together.

You should now have to lace wings. You want to set them together and then secure them together with wire.

I turned the loop in just a little more.

You will want to add your doilies and ribbons to center over your wire center. I glued the doilies one on top of another. I then added wire to my bling embellishment and wired it through the doilies.

You will want to knit your ribbons together and glue them to the back side of your doily.

I then wired my doily to the center of my wings.

These are so easy to make and turn out amazing. You can hang these in a babies room , hang them on a wall or place on your fireplace mantle. These can also be created as butterfly wings. I love how these turned out and I hope you will all give them try.
