It seems like most woman love wearing some type of earrings. Since we’re always getting creative here at The Shabby Tree I thought it would be fun to make some earrings.
You will find these items list of supplies that I’ll be using down below.
- Teardrop wood pendants
- Short fishhook earwire
- Napkins
- Mod podge
- Paint brush
- Sanding tool
- Ivory chalk paint
- Small pliers
You can find these wood pendants and fishhook earwire in any craft store with their jewelry making items.
The first step is to paint both sides of the wood pendants. I’m using an Ivory chalk paint but you can use any color that you want.
Once you have the wood pendants painted you’ll then add the napkins.
Be sure to remove the back layers of the napkin.
You’ll add the mod podge to the wood pendants and then add the napkins.
Once the napkin is in place you can use a small sanding tool to remove the excess napkin.
You’ll want to add the napkin to both sides of the wood pendants.

The last step is to add the fishhook earwire to the wood pendants.
You’ll want to open the small hoop and add the wood pendants.
These are so easy to make and I hope you’ll give them a try.
