It is time to start thinking about Fall and I want to make a few fun and unique pumpkins for my porch. I was in Hobby Lobby and I found a few bushel baskets that I just knew would make a fun pumpkin.

I will be using two bushel baskets for one pumpkin.

A few other supplies that I will be using are:
1. Orange spray paint
2. Maple colored gel stain by DecoArt
3. Paint brush
4. Cinnamon
5. Hot glue
6. Antique spool
7. Polyurethane spray
8. Raffia

I spray painted the outside of each bushel basket and then I hot glued the wooden spool onto one of them.

After I had them spray painted I then decided to add the gel stain and cinnamon to give them a more rustic look.

I added water to the gel stain as I painted it onto the baskets.

I sprinkled on the cinnamon while the gel stain was still wet.

I sprinkled on the cinnamon while the gel stain was still wet.

You can give the baskets a light coat of a polyurethane spray. I stacked both bushel baskets together to create one large unique pumpkin. This looks great on my front porch and gives me a pop of color for Fall. This is so easy to create and I hope you will give it a try. I purchased the bushel baskets from Hobby Lobby when they were on sale.
