If you love fall like I do and you’re looking for something fun to put on your front door then I have the Diy for you. This pumpkin wreath can be used so many ways throughout your home but it is an amazing wreath for your front door.

The supplies you will need are:

1. Metal pumpkin form from the Dollar Tree

2. Material if your choice (I’m using burlap)

3. Scissors

4. Twine

5. Spray paint (this is optional)

6. A fat tree twig (this is optional for stem)

The first step will be to cut your strips of fabric. I’m cutting mine about 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide and about 11 inches long.

Now you will be wrapping each strip of fabric around each metal post if pumpkin. I do this by folding my stop in half and then looping it around the metal post.
You will continue this process until the pumpkin is completely covered.

You want these rag pieces to be very tight and close together. This will make your pumpkin nice and full.
Next I took my orange spray paint and lightly sprayed all my rag pieces in the pumpkin.

I will be hanging my pumpkin on my front door which has glass windows. I decided to cover the back of my pumpkin with a piece of burlap so you don’t see the unfinished back through the glass. I did this by placing hot glue around the back of the pumpkin and placing the pumpkin onto a piece of burlap. I then just cut all excess burlap off giving me a back side to my pumpkin wreath.

I wanted a bigger and more noticeable stem to my pumpkin so I decided to add a tree stem to my pumpkin.

I got the piece of wood for my stem out of my yard. This step is totally optional, I just like the way that it looks with the wooden stem!

You can get so creative with this pumpkin wreath and add different touches to it. I also added a simple bow to the front with a large bling pendant. I just cut strips of my burlap overlapped them and tied with twine making a simple rag bow. I took hot glue and glued a large bling pendant to the front of my bow.
