If you’re following The Shabby Tree then you already know that I love creating fun and unique home decor items. I think we can easily turn a plastic turkey tray from the Dollar Tree into a fun and unique wreath.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. One plastic turkey tray from the Dollar Tree

2. Floral wire from the Dollar Tree

3. Exacto knife

4. Wire cutters

5. Spanish Copper colored Rub’n Buff

6. Flower sprigs and greenery

The first step is to cut out the center of the tray using the exacto knife.

Once you have the center cut out you’ll want to use the Rub’n Buff on the outer part of the tray.

I purchased my Rub’n Buff from Hobby Lobby.

I used my finger to rub the Rub’n Buff all around the frame. You can use a sponge but I found it easiest to just use my finger.

Once I had the Rub’n Buff on the frame I then attached my flowers and greenery with the floral wire.

I decided to use a doll needle to help the wire go through the back of my flowers. You can glue the flowers on but I feel like wire will work better.

I created some small holes in the frame to use the wire to attach the greenery to the frame.

I decided to use a small piece of wire and some gorilla tape to create a hanger on the back side of the frame.

This frame wreath is so easy to create and would make a fun and unique wreath for your front door. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
