We recently got an amazing set of baskets on our website that I want to get creative with. These baskets are great for trees and flowers but I want to try using them as some fun and unique lamp shades.

You can find the list of supplies that I’ll be using for these lamps down below.
1. Set of 3 baskets
2. Three candlesticks each being a different height
3. Three glass containers
4. E6000 glue
5. Spanish Copper Rub’n Buff
6. Puck light or battery operated string lights
I purchased all three of my candlesticks from a local thrift store.
I added some Spanish Copper Rub’n Buff to the largest candlesticks. This toned down the gold color to match the other two candle sticks.
Once I had the Rub’n Buff I added I then glued the glass containers to the top of each candlestick.
I found some of my glass containers from the Dollar Tree and thrift store.
You’ll want to add a puck light or some battery operated string lights to the glass containers.
I removed the plastic liners from the baskets and then placed the baskets on top of the glass containers.
These lamps turned out amazing and were so easy to make. I hope you’ll get creative and give these a try.
