I have been going through my craft supplies and realized I have a lot of seed starting pots. These pots make a great craft item and we have created a few things using them. I thought it would be fun to use a few of the seed starting pots to create some small pumpkins.

The supplies that I’m using are:
1. Seed starting pots ( you can use any size )
2. Acrylic paint by DecoArt and the color is Pumpkin Spice
3. Hot glue
4. Spanish moss
5. Scissors
6. Paint brush
7. Wired jute cord from the Dollar Tree
The pots that I’m using are 2.4” wide pots.
I squeezed the pot to flatten it out.
You will want to cut the top of the pot to form a pumpkin shape.
I cut and twisted a piece of the wired jute to create a stem. You can use a small stick for stem but I like the look of the jute.
You will add hot glue to the inside and then add the stem.
I painted the pumpkin orange and added some Spanish moss to the top.
You can do this same thing to a larger seed pot and fill them with candy. This would make a great favor for a Fall party.
These pumpkins are so easy to make and they look great on a small tree.
You can find the tree and on our website at the link down below.
I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
