If you’re following The Shabby Tree then you already know that we’re always trying to create fun and unique items. I was recently in the Dollar Tree and came across packs of wooden rings. As soon as I saw them I just knew they could easily be turned into a fun and unique pumpkin.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Two packs of 1.96 inch wood rings from the Dollar Tree

2. Rust-oleum 2x ultra cover paint and primer spray paint ( color Rustic Orange)

3. Floral wire

4. Spanish moss

5. Wood stem

6. Hot glue

The first thing that I did was spray paint my wood rings. You can paint these any color that you want or leave them the natural wood color.

Once my rings were painted I then added a piece of floral wire through all 10 rings. I doubled my floral wire to make it thicker.

You will add the wood stem to the center of the rings and twist the wire tight.

I used hot glue to secure some Spanish moss onto the top of the pumpkin.

These are so easy to make and can be used any where in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
