I recently found a beautiful cardinal napkin that I have been wanting to get creative with. There are so many ways to get creative with a simple napkin. I want to create a fun container that I can use as a centerpiece or just a simple holiday decoration.
The supplies that I’ll be using are:
1. One cardinal napkin and two stuffed cardinals. This is a kit that is on our website.
2 Decoupage by DecoArt
3. One cardboard box that is a 10x6x5
4. Heirloom White colored spray by Rust-oleum
You can do this simple craft with any type of napkin that you like.
I’ll be ripping this napkin in half so that I can use each piece on the front and back side of the box.
The first step is to spray paint your box.
Be sure to pull the back sheets of the napkin off.
Once I had the napkin ripped in half I then added the decoupage to the box.
You’ll place the napkin on top and add more decoupage.
I added some brown shipping paper into the box and then added two greenery half spheres.
I added one strand of our 20ct battery operated wire lights.
Once I had the greenery and lights in place I then added the cardinals. You can place a wooden skewer up into the cardinal to help secure them in place.
You can find the cardinal set on our website by clicking the link below.

I hope this inspires you to have fun and get creative with decorative napkins. I love how this turned out and you can find so many napkins in a variety of stores right now.
