My Dollar Tree started putting out some of their Christmas items and of course I had to buy some. They had some fun wooden cut outs and the reindeer head caught my eye. I love decorating with my vintage Christmas decorations and I thought it would be fun to create a rudolf head to go with my decorations.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. One wooden reindeer head cut out from the Dollar Tree

2. Elmer’s glue

3. Black and cream chalky finish paint by DecoArt

4. Acrylic paint by DecoArt ( colors Santa Red and Cinnamon Stick)

5. Red glitter

6. Gold fine glitter

7. Paint brush

The first thing I did was paint the bottom part of the face with the cream chalky finish paint as shown in photo above.

Once the cream paint was dry I then painted the nose red.

You will want to paint the rest of the face with the Cinnamon Stick colored paint.

I added the Elmer’s glue to the antlers and then sprinkled on the fine gold glitter.

You will want to add the Elmer’s glue to the nose and then sprinkle on the red glitter.

I painted the eyes and ears on last.

This was a fun and easy decoration to make and I hope you’ll give it a try.
