I found myself on Amazon looking for some different craft supplies. We’ve been making a lot of Americana crafts lately so I wanted to find something different. I came across some napkins and I ended up ordering a great sunflower napkin.

These are a great stack of napkins and you can find the exact one’s that I ordered on my Amazon store front down below.

Some other supplies that I’ll be using to turn this napkin into a flower are:

1. Decoupage

2. Paint brush

3. Scissors

4. 16oz paper bowls

5. Sticks from the yard

6. Hot glue

7. Avocado colored acrylic paint by DecoArt

The first step is to remove the back layers of the napkin.

One napkin will give you four sunflowers. You’ll want to cut apart all four napkins.

The next step is to add the decoupage to the inside of the bowl.

Once you have the decoupage painted onto the bowl you’ll then add the napkin.

I will be doing three sunflowers so I did the same process to all three bowls.

You’ll want to cut the upper rim of the bowl off as shown in photo above.

Once you have the rim cut off you’ll then want to cut around each petal of the sunflower.

Once I had all three flowers cut out I then painted the sticks with the Avocado green paint.

You’ll want to glue the sticks to the back side of the flowers as shown in photo above.

I like how they looked glued to the sticks but you can glue these flowers to any thing that you want. These would look great glued onto a grapevine wreath or onto some clothespins and clipped onto a tree.

I hope you’ll get creative and give these fun flowers a try.
