It is time to start thinking about how you want to decorate for Fall. We all love adding pumpkins to our decor but I want to create a lace pumpkin.

The supplies that I’ll be using are :

1. Scrap piece of lace curtain

2. One wire hanger

3. Scissors

4. Hot Glue

5. Rustic Orange colored spray paint by Rust-oleum

6. Jute from the Dollar Tree

7. Wire jute from the Dollar Tree

8. One sheet of Spanish moss from the Dollar Tree

9. Orange colored pom pom garland from our website

You will want to form the hanger in a shape of a pumpkin.

You will want to squeeze the top hanger part together to form the stem of your pumpkin.

The next step is to lay the hanger onto one piece of lace.

You will want to add hot glue over the whole hanger.

Cut the excess lace around the the pumpkin. Once you have the lace cut you will then spray paint the pumpkin.

Once the spray paint is dry you will then start glueing the pom pom garland around the edge.

Once I had the garland all glued in place I then decided to glue each pom pom down onto the edge of the pumpkin.

Once the pom poms are glued down you will then add the jute to the stem.

I started glueing the jute to the back side first and then continued wrapping around the stem.

You will want to add hot glue as you wrap the jute.

I wrapped a piece of the wire jute around the stem and then wrapped the ends around a pencil to give them a curled effect.

I cut two leaves out of the sheet if Spanish moss.

I glued the leaves to the back side of the pumpkin.

This pumpkin is very easy to make and you can use any type of material.

You can find the pom pom garland on our website right here https://theshabbytreeboutique.com/shop-mBiWY/p/orange-pom-pom-garland-set-of-2

I hope you will get creative and give this pumpkin a try.
