I have been trying to come up with a fun and unique way for us to display some our jewelry here at The Shabby Tree. We recently made a twine holder using a wooden hanger and I just knew there had to be a way to create a jewelry holder with a hanger!

We will be making two different versions of this jewelry holder. The supplies you will need are:

1. Wooden hanger

2. Candle stick holder

3. Spray paint (I am using a cream spray paint)

4. E6000 glue

5. Drill and drill bit

6. Styrofoam

7. Spanish moss

8. Cup hooks (I’m using 7/8’’ inch cup hook)

9. A cream ribbon  this is optional)

10. Glue gun

The first step is to drill a hole down into the center of your candle stick. The drill bit will need to be the same width as the hook on your hanger.

You will need to cut the curved part of the hook off.

I did this to both hangers.

You will leave one hanger together as is and only cut off the curved hook. The second hanger you will take off the wooden bottom pole.

You will drill a hole on each end of the hanger. This is where you will screw in your cup hooks.

You will then want to spray paint both hangers.

You will insert the handle of the hanger into the hole in the candle stick. Add some E6000 glue and give it a day to dry. You will then add the wooden bar from your hanger onto the cup hooks. This allows you to remove the bar to add your jewelry.

The other one I just left the hanger assembled and added the handle part into the hole of the candle stick. I added some E6000 glue and gave it a day to dry. You then just clip your jewelry onto the top bar of the hanger.

I added a little styrofoam and moss into the top of the candle holder. I added a little hot glue to help secure it all in place. These are very easy to make and you can create them with any type of candle holder. I will be using these at our warehouse to display our jewelry. These would look amazing on a dresser in a bedroom. I hope you will all get creative and give these a try.
