The Dollar Tree has so many fun decorations for all holidays. I found some cute tinsel ghost in my local Dollar Tree Plus that are perfect for a fun Halloween decoration. I want these ghost to light up and have a spookier look so I decided to give them a quick and easy makeover.

These ghosts are cute as is but I will be using a few supplies to give them a quick and easy makeover.

I’ll be using some zip ties, creepy cloth, spray paint and battery operated string lights.

The first thing that I did was use a few white zip ties from the Dollar Tree to attach the two ghosts together.

I left a small area on one side of the ghost open so that I can place some lights inside of the ghost.

I cut the ends of the zip ties off with some scissors.

I spray painted the entire ghost with a Heirloom White colored spray paint by rust-oleum.

I lightly went over the face area so that the black eyes and mouth would still show.

Once I had the ghost completely covered with the spray paint I then added the lights and the creepy cloth.

This ghost was so easy to create and will look great hanging any where in your home for Halloween. I hope you’ll get creative and give this ghost a try.
