Dollar Tree Glass Bowl Makeover Using A Christmas Napkin

by blewis | Jul 23, 2026 | Christmas/Winter, Everyday DIY | 0 comments

I was recently in the Dollar Tree and I came across a new glass bowl that I’ve not seen in there before. As soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to do with it.
This glass bowl screamed cute candy dish or candle holder to me.
I recently got an amazing mega Christmas napkin bundle from European Excellency that has the perfect napkin for this glass bowl. I’ll be using one napkin, mod podge, Elmer’s glue and glitter for this fun little makeover.
The first step is to remove the back layers of the napkin. Once the back layers are removed you’ll then rip the napkin to the size you want. You’ll add the mod podge to the glass bowl and then place the napkin over the mod podge.
You’ll want to add more mod podge over the napkin.
Once you have the napkin pieces added the glass bowl you’ll then out line the napkin with the Elmer’s glue.
The last step is to sprinkle the glitter over the Elmer’s glue.
I did the same process to another glass bowl but this time I used a Heirloom White spray paint on the glass bowl first.
This bowl will look great with candy or a candle in it.
This will look great any where in your home and I hope you’ll give it a try.
