The Dollar Tree has muffin pans and I found a way to get very creative with them. I recently found out that you can pop the round tins out of the pan. Once I realized that the small round tins could pop out I knew exactly what I wanted to create.

I’ll be using 2 muffin pans for this craft.

The other supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. One large piece of cardboard

2. Hot glue

3. X-acto knife

4. Antique Pewter spray paint by Rust-oleum

5. Ink pen

The first step is to pop all six round tins out of both pans.

You’ll need to twist the pan which will pop each tin loose.

Once you get all 12 tins popped out you’ll then form a heart with them onto the cardboard.

Once you have your heart formed you’ll then trace around each tin.

Once you have all 12 tins traced onto the cardboard you’ll then remove the tins. The next step is to draw your heart shape around the circles as shown in photo below.

Once you have the heart drawn you’ll then use the X-acto knife to cut the heart out.

Once you have the heart cut out the next step to cut out the circles.

It’s very important not to cut on the line. Come in from the line as shown in photo above.

Once you have all 12 circles cut out then the next step is to glue the round tins on.

You’ll glue each tin over the holes as shown in photo above.

The last step is to cover both sides of the heart with the Antique Pewter spray paint.

This was so easy to make and looks like a heart shaped muffin pan. You can hang this in your home or use it as a cute candle holder. I love how this turned out and I hope you’ll give it a try.
