The Dollar Tree Plus just started putting out some Spring decor. I just bought a few flower welcome signs that I found in there today. These are $5.00 but I just know there are so many different ways that we can get creative with them.

I’ll be using pieces of this sign for now and we’ll use the other pieces later on.

The supplies that I’ll be using for this makeover are:

1. Wire cutters

2. Silver container

3. Moss

4. Hot glue

5. E6000 glue

6. Antique Gold Rub’n Buff

7. Antique Pewter spray paint by Rust-oleum

8. Floral foam

9. Bling embellishments

The first step is to use the wire cutters to remove the flower stems from the sign.

Once I had the flowers removed I spray painted them with the Antique Pewter spray paint.

I spray painted the back and front of each flower

Once the spray paint was dry I then added just a touch of the Antique Gold Rub’n Buff.

I’ll be adding some bling embellishments to the center of the flowers. This is an optional step so you can skip this step if you want.

I’m using some bling that I found in the paper section in Hobby Lobby. I used wire cutters to remove the little tabs that were on the back of the bling.

I added some E6000 glue and then a touch of hot glue.

I added some foam and moss to the inside of the container and then the flowers.

This was so easy to make and I just love how it turned out. There are so many different ways that you can get creative with these metal flowers. I hope you’ll have fun and give this a try.
