Spring is coming and I’ve been going through my decorations. Bunnies are a must have for me and I seem to have a lot of cement bunnies. I thought it would be fun to create a cement egg holder to add with my bunnies. This will be a faux cement egg holder.
The supplies that I’ll be using are:
1. One paper egg carton
2. Ready-Mix Concrete Patch
3. Light Buttermilk acrylic paint
4. Paint brush
You will want to use a paper egg carton and not a foam egg carton.
I’m using a carton that came with some plastic eggs from Walmart.
I covered the egg carton with the Ready-Mix Concrete Patch. You can use a paint brush or your finger. I found it easier to use my finger.
Be sure to cover the sides of the egg crate.
Once the ready-mix concrete patch was dry I then added some paint.
You can leave the egg carton the color of the concrete or paint it any color that you want. I decided to paint mine with a light buttermilk acrylic paint.
This egg carton will make a great Spring decoration. I love how easy this was and I hope you’ll give it a try.
