Ok I’m super excited about these fun fabric star ornaments that we have on our website. We always like to change things up here at The Shabby Tree which gave me an idea. I want to give these fabric ornaments a quick and easy makeover.
The first step is to paint the star ornaments. I’m using an Ivory colored chalk paint by Waverly.
This will take about 2 to 3 coats of chalk paint with drying time in between each coat.
Once I had both sides painted and dried I then painted on a snowman face.
Once I had the snowman faces painted on I then added some Christmas Snow. You can find the Christmas Snow on our website by clicking the link down below.
I used a spray adhesive and then sprinkled on the snow. You’ll want to spray the adhesive onto the ornament and then sprinkle on the snow. Be sure to shake off the excess snow and then spray more adhesive.
These will make great ornaments or fun dough bowl fillers. I hope you’ll get creative and give this makeover a try. You can find the stars on our website by clicking the link down below.
I just finished mine this morning
