It’s Christmas time and it’s time to get your house decorated. I finally finished my living room fireplace mantle. I decorate my living room with all of my vintage Santa’s for Christmas. I love how my mantle turned out with all of my Santa’s clustered together.

I always like to have a large item in the center of my mantle. You will see I have a large vintage styrofoam Santa head hanging in the center.

I used a flocked garland and added a set of 50 white lights to it.

My mantle is brick so I use these stocking hooks to hold my garland onto my mantle. I use these stocking hooks all year long as I change out my garland for different holidays and seasons.

I added a handmade Believe banner to my garland. I used a few of the greenery sprigs to attach the banner. I made the banner out of burlap and muslin material.

I have two glittered grapevine trees on my mantle. I purchased these trees from Kirkland’s a few years ago. I added a set of lights up into the trees.

I did not want to hang our stockings on the mantle because I feel like the Believe banner with the stockings was just too much. I keep an old piece of gate below my mantle and I hung our sacks on the gate. We had these fun vintage Santa sacks on our website and I wanted to use them in place of our stockings. I stitched the long strap into a small hook so that the bags would hang as a stocking would.

Decorating is suppose to be fun and I like to use items that make me happy. I love vintage Santa’s and I smile every time I look at my mantle.

I have a large standing vintage Santa that I place at the bottom of my mantle.
