I recently had my floors redone and the interior of my home freshly repainted, and let me tell you—once those projects were finished, it completely inspired me to switch a few things up. You know how one update always leads to another! So I decided it was the perfect time to give my foyer a little makeover. It’s the first space you see when you walk in, and I wanted it to feel refreshed, welcoming, and totally “me.” I’m so excited to share the changes with you and see what you think!
I decided to bring one of my favorite pieces into the foyer—a beautiful statue that used to sit in my dining room. I’ve always loved it, and moving it to this space gave the whole entryway a little extra charm and personality. Sometimes just relocating a piece you already own makes the biggest difference! You’ll notice that I brought a variety of trees into the foyer, and they instantly made the space feel warm and inviting. I just can’t help myself—I love having trees and soft twinkling lights up all year long. They add such a magical glow, no matter the season, and they make the entryway feel so cheerful the moment you walk through the door.
I also brought in my faux antique mantel, and it completely changed the feel of the foyer. Adding it created a more open, airy look while still giving the space that cozy vintage charm I love. It’s amazing how one statement piece can make everything feel more intentional and pulled together.
This set of trunks from Decor Steals has been such a perfect addition. Not only do they bring in that vintage, collected look I love, but they also give me some really great storage space. I’m always looking for pieces that are both pretty and practical, and these trunks check both boxes.

I’m so happy with how this little foyer refresh turned out. The only thing that I would change is the COKE SIGN. It doesn’t go well with the Christmas Foyer except that it is red maybe a Wreath up there just for Christmas

Barb your entry look good before and I love what you’re done with it now. The mantle is a dream and I love the crates. All the trees and green just make it complete. Great job. Oh and I’m totally into all the cone shaped trees on top of the mantle. I have a couple myself.
How fun to change things in redecorate I always love how you have things. You have beautiful pieces of furniture, and You definitely know what you’re doing. You have a natural talent. I love the wood piece I saw how others were saying that they might changed a few things ,,I wonder did you try the Douglas pine tree where the Smaller one was by the Hall? You have such beautiful pieces, but, I think you have too many pieces together. Maybe too many trees on top of mantel and the pine tree kind of covers up some items. No offense and my preference, I prefer it to be a bit simpler.

I love the makeover, it’s beautiful, love all your trees on top of your mantel.❣️ If I were to change one thing it would be to hang the mirror higher behind the statue so the sight line is more balanced with the mantelpiece. Just a thought.😊

I love your style of decorating and the new look your foyer has. However, I agree with some of the others that the statute of The Blessed Mary looks a little crowded.
I love the tall tree beside her, but the long needle tree doesn’t blend and seems to hide Her. Maybe switch the tree on the right side of the mantel with the long needle tree. In this case less is more.
Its your house, your foyer so go with your heart. You asked for opinions and you got them.

Beautiful with the piece brought in. Perfect Christmas decorated area. Only thing I would do is take the coke sign down and put up a Christmas sign till after Christmas. Knowing we all like different things but we usually like the same.

As much as I love your new look here, I have to say I much rather see it the way you used to have it. I loved your old storage cabinet and the smaller stackable one just the way you had before. I do love this antique with the mirror but I’m feeling it best inside the house. I know I’m not making much sense but I’m all about your first look…. the way I first remember seeing your beautiful home. But simply.. I love it all ☺ your the best decorator. You inspired me this year and I added a tree with white lights, u did not add ornaments . It makes a difference because I never had a tree in there.
