It seems like everyone likes to keep some type of wreath on their front door and they like to change them out for different season’s. I want to create something fun that can be hung on a front door or any where in your home. After looking through my craft supplies I realized that we can create a hanging basket that can be filled for different season’s or holidays.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. One 16 x 20 canvas

2. One 98ft pack of 3-ply jute cord

3. Hot glue

4. Scissors

The first step is to remove the canvas from the frame.

Once you have the canvas removed from the frame it’s then time to start adding the jute. You’ll want to start at the bottom of the frame as shown in photo below.

You’ll add hot glue as you keep adding the jute.

Once you get to the end you’ll want to bring the jute back across to the other side.

I covered the bottom edge of the frame with the jute first and then I started wrapping the jute around the frame.

Be sure to keep adding the hot glue as you wrap the jute.

I added hot glue to the sides of the frame and I added hot glue to the previous strip of jute as I wrap.

Once I came up about 10 inches with the jute I then started wrapping the jute around the frame.

Once you get to the top of the frame you’ll be wrapping the jute at a slant. This is a bit tricky but it works.

You’ll do the same thing when you get to the other side of the frame.

When you’re finished wrapping, you’ll cut the jute leaving a few extra inches.

I added some hot glue down into the side of the frame to secure the end down into the basket.

This basket is so easy to make and you can decorate it and fill it so many different ways.

This will look great hanging on a front door or any where in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give this fun basket a try.
