How To Make A Candle Holder Out Of Two Dollar Tree Items

by blewis | Jun 17, 2024 | Everyday DIY, Home Decor | 0 comments

If you’re part of The Shabby Tree then you already know that I love having battery operated candles throughout my home. I was recently in the Dollar Tree and came across two items that we can easily turn into a candle holder.
The Dollar Tree has a mirror and a wooden box that I’ll be using to make this candle holder. I’ll also be using E6000 glue, hot glue and black chalk paint.
This mirror has a plastic black frame and I love that it has a hanger on the back.
The wooden box is 5.5”. I’m painting the wooden box with a black chalk paint.
Once the paint was dry I then glued the mirror and the box together.
I added some of the E6000 glue to the bottom part of the frame as shown in photo above.
I also added some hot glue and then placed the frame and wooden box together.
I placed a candle ring and a battery operated candle into the wooden box.
You can hang this candle holder and set it onto your table.
This was so quick and easy to make and will look great any where in your home. You can find the candle and the candle ring on our website by clicking the links down below.

I hope you’ll get creative and give this candle holder a try.
