I started decorating for Fall and Halloween and I’m just about done. After looking through all of my Halloween decorations I realized we’ve never made any type of crystal ball here at The Shabby Tree. I think I have a quick and easy way to make a fun crystal ball that I can add to my decorations.
The supplies that I’ll be using are:
1. One recycled old piece of silver
2. Mirror Effect spray paint by Rust-oleum
3. One round plastic ornament from Hobby Lobby
4. Small spray bottle of water (optional)
This plastic ornament works perfect for this because it comes in two pieces.
I gave a light spritz of water to the inside of each piece and then sprayed on the Mirror Effect.
The water helped give the ball a more speckled look.
I put the two pieces together and then placed the ornament onto my silver piece.
This was so quick and easy to make and will look great mixed in with my Halloween decorations. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
