I love adding different heights when putting out decorations in my home. After looking through my craft items I thought it would be fun to make a quick and easy decorative riser.
The supplies that I’ll be using are listed down below.
1. One wooden candle box from our website
2. One candle holder from our website
3. Drill and drill bit
4. Silver glitter
5. Elmers glue
6. White chalk paint
7. Paint brush
8. Twelve wood teardrop earring pendents
9. Twelve fish hook earring posts
10. E6000 glue
The first step is to paint the bottom of the box and the twelve wood teardrop earrings pendants.
The next step is to drill holes along each side of the box. Be sure to drill your holes along the top edge of the box. You’ll want to drill a hole at top center of each side.
You’ll want to drill two more holes on each side of the box one inch from each edge of the box.
Once you have all of the holes drilled you’ll then add glitter to the teardrops. Paint the Elmers glue onto the teardrops and then sprinkle on the glitter.
Once the glitter is added you’ll then add the post as shown in photo above.
Place the posts through the holes on the box.
Once you have all of the teardrops added to the box you’ll then add the E6000 glue to the candle holder.
You can find the candle box and the candle holder on our website by clicking the links down below.
This riser is very easy to make and I hope you’ll give it a try.
