I was going through my craft supplies and I came across some coco liners from the Dollar Tree. Coco liners are a great craft supply and there are so many different ways to get creative with them. Fall and Halloween are quickly approaching so I thought it would be fun to use 2 coco liners for pumpkins. I don’t want to create a regular pumpkin so I thought we can create some pumpkins into a wall art.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Two coco liners from the Dollar Tree

2. One 16×20 black canvas from the Dollar Tree

3. Spanish moss

4. Rustic Orange spray paint by Rust-oleum

5. Scissors

6. X-acto knife

7. Elmers glue

8. Gold fine glitter

9. Twine 10. Doll needle

10. Hot glue

11. Burlap leaves from the Dollar Tree

12. Battery operated string lights

13. Two wooden stems

I want 2 different size pumpkins so I cut one coco liner to be smaller.

The next step is to draw a pumpkin face onto the coco liners.

You’ll use the scissors to cut out the faces.

Once you have the faces cut out you’ll then spray paint the coco liners with the rustic orange colored spray paint.

You’ll want to glue some of the Spanish moss going across the bottom of the canvas.

Once you have the Spanish moss glued onto the canvas you’ll then sew the pumpkins onto the canvas.

You’ll use the twine and doll needle to sew the pumpkins onto the canvas.

You’ll want to go up and through the canvas and through the side of the coco liner.

You’ll continue going through the canvas and coco liner until you get around the entire coco liner.

You’ll sew both coco liners onto the can as as shown in photo above.

The next step is to glue two wooden stems to the top if each pumpkin. You can find these wooden stems in Hobby Lobby in their Christmas section.

Once I had the stems glued in place I then added some burlap leaves from the Dollar Tree.

I added some drops of Elmers glue and glitter to the top section of the canvas.

I added some strands of battery operated lights to the pumpkins.

I put two small holes on the back side of the canvas and inserted the lights.

I placed the lights up into the pumpkins and taped the box with batteries onto the back side of the canvas. This was very easy to make and will look great hanging any where in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
