How To Make A Pumpkin Wreath Using Two Dollar Tree Items

by blewis | Sep 4, 2024 | Fall/Halloween, Holiday | 14 comments

It’s time to start decorating for Fall and I thought it would be fun to create a Fall wreath. I feel like everyone likes to add some type of pumpkin decor to their home for Fall. After looking through my craft supplies I thought we could make an easy pumpkin wreath using two Dollar Tree items.
You can find the list of all of the supplies that I’ll be using down below.
1. One plastic bowl from the Dollar Tree
2. One 16” round plastic tray from the Dollar Tree
3. Wire 4. Drill and small drill bit
5. Wood burning tool
6. Antique wax by Waverly
7. Rustic Orange spray paint by Rust-oleum
8. Some type of stick or piece of mulch for stem
9. Raffia
10. Candle ring (optional)
11. Timer taper ( optional)
The first step is to cut the plastic bowl by using the wood burning tool.
You can find the wood burning tool that I use here: https://liketk.it/4PxKK
Once you have all of the marks onto the bowl you’ll then use the wood burning tool. You’ll use the tool to cut the bowl along the marks that you made.
It’s best to do this part outside in an open space.
You’ll want to drill two small holes through the edge of the plastic ring and the plastic tray. This is where you’ll be wiring the two pieces together.
The next step is to spray paint the tray and the plastic ring with the rustic orange spray paint.
I spray painted both sides of each item.
Once they are dry you’ll want to wire both pieces together.
Once both pieces are wired together you’ll then add some of the antique wax over the orange.
I drilled some holes through a piece of much and wired it to the wreath.
I tied some raffia to the stem and added a candle ring and a timer taper to the center. You can find the candle ring and timer taper on our website by clicking the links down below.

This wreath was so quick and easy to make and will look great hanging any where in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give this fun wreath a try.
