How To Make A Sea Shell Tree

by blewis | Jun 4, 2024 | Everyday DIY, Home Decor | 0 comments

I found myself in Walmart and I came across a pack of sea shells that caught my eye. So many of you probably have sea shells from a beach trip. I knew I had to get this pack of sea shells and try to create a sea shell tree.
There are a variety of sea shells in this pack.
I’ll be using one 18 inch paper mache cone, hot glue and one pack of sea shells for this tree.
I started adding hot glue at the bottom of the paper mache cone.
I started adding the largest shells at the bottom of the cone as shown in photo above.
I continued adding hot glue and sea shells as I worked my way up the cone.
I trimmed about one inch off of the top of the cone. Trimming off some of the cone made it easier to add the sea shells to the top.
This tree was so much fun to make and will make a great summer decoration. I hope you’ll collect some shells on your next beach trip or buy this fun pack from Walmart to give this tree a try.
